Post Growth Summit
ABOUT
Post Growth Summit is the first event of its kind in Canada devoted to exploring a post-growth economy, while redefining entrepreneurship through a diverse, feminist lens. Post-Growth is defined as a business philosophy that prioritizes sustainable growth and collaboration in contrast to a profit-oriented approach.
I joined the marketing and communications team as the Design Lead, assigned with the role of creating the event's visual identity while also overseeing its application through the official website, social media channels, and set design. Additionally, I was invited as a featured speaker at the event's art and design panel.
With the brief in mind, I opted to merge both serif and sans serif type, highlighting the summit's dedication to changing the standard quo. To reflect its feminist themes, both typefaces were created by women designers. Violet was chosen as the primary colour, paying homage to first and second-wave feminist demonstrations.
